On all advance evidence, I would never have put the name Chelsea Cain, author of Heartsick , and the phrase "good writing" in the same sentence. To begin with, "Chelsea Cain" rings a false note. It's like Danielle Steele, a name that somebody with a tin ear considered writerly.
